The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Frederick Van Der Meeren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mirco Redepenning was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 11 minutes into the match, Apricis Bruxella's goalkeeper Kent Imbrechts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frido Stumpf. Frido Stumpf scored 1-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kent Imbrechts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mirco Redepenning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederick Van Der Meeren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Give Peace a Chance getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Frido Stumpf hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Frido Stumpf reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kent Imbrechts. The goal made the score 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Qwinten Huijbreghts in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mirco Redepenning prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kent Imbrechts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kort Schinnenburg, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Apricis Bruxella's Frederick Van Der Meeren got a free kick in the 37th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Apricis Bruxella's goalkeeper Kent Imbrechts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frido Stumpf. In the 45th minute, Give Peace a Chance's Kort Schinnenburg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kent Imbrechts. Kent Imbrechts yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frido Stumpf was the one to do the kick off. Frido Stumpf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Give Peace a Chance's goalkeeper Mirco Redepenning had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jim Claevers. Apricis Bruxella's Kent Imbrechts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeff Vander in the 61st minute of play. Jeff Vander scored 5-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kent Imbrechts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Apricis Bruxella getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Robert Verhaeghen hit a great ball. After 69 minutes of play, Give Peace a Chance's Frido Stumpf made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kent Imbrechts was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Joris Klaes got free with Mirco Redepenning in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeff Vander hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Apricis Bruxella defense, Jeff Vander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kent Imbrechts. The Apricis Bruxella fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kent Imbrechts should have stopped the shot. After 90 minutes of play, Give Peace a Chance's Kort Schinnenburg made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kent Imbrechts was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kent Imbrechts came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Give Peace a Chance's Frido Stumpf. But to his dismay, Frido Stumpf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. There was no doubt that Give Peace a Chance were the better team. Give Peace a Chance's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
