After having played for 21 minutes, Jorginho Sarmento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Locomotiva grena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorginho Sarmento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Locomotiva grena's Murillo Loyola got control of the ball when Mark Diaz de León tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Club Deportes La Serena fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Club Deportes La Serena's Mark Diaz de León looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mark Diaz de León didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 5-0 via right post in the game's 42nd minute. Club Deportes La Serena's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mark Diaz de León was the one to do the kick off. Murillo Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogerio Recalde in the 57th minute of play. Locomotiva grena's Murillo Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Diaz de León in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Club Deportes La Serena getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Mark Diaz de León hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Diaz de León in the 64th minute of play forced Locomotiva grena's goalkeeper Murillo Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rogerio Recalde came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Club Deportes La Serena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogerio Recalde couldn't finish the play. Carlo Ortuño kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Deportes La Serena had won after a very even match.
