With a little luck, Locomotiva grena's Murillo Loyola got control of the ball when Edmundo Arichaga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Murillo Loyola was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. In the 26th minute, Yiyo Corono left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The West Town SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ursino Cervilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Sarmento in the 32nd minute of the match. West Town SC's Yiyo Corono got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Edmundo Arichaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murillo Loyola. Locomotiva grena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Arichaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Murillo Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Arichaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Murillo Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Arichaga in the 70th minute of the match. Vitório Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute.
