The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Behçet Canol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Ahmet Necdet Akkaya made a huge save. Abdulkadir Öğeturk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Davut Erşahan in the 11th minute of play. Abdulkadir Öğeturk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seyrani İslamoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Necdet Akkaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neşat Kadrihan in the 14th minute of the match. Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Abdulkadir Öğeturk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirkelam Bender in the 16th minute of play. Asım Arif Kayansel kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, SÜVEYDİYE TAFA SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Neşat Kadrihan came free, but Ahmet Necdet Akkaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Futbol Sevenler Kulübü defense, Ahmet Davut Erşahan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abdulkadir Öğeturk. The Futbol Sevenler Kulübü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdulkadir Öğeturk should have stopped the shot. Abdulkadir Öğeturk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Davut Erşahan, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ahmet Necdet Akkaya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehmet Çağrı Aktemur in the 29th minute. Behçet Canol ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Behçet Canol was the one to do the kick off. Abdulkadir Öğeturk stood somewhat misplaced when Özcan Bostancıoğlu came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 76 minute. Seyrani İslamoğlu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, SÜVEYDİYE TAFA SPOR's Seyrani İslamoğlu got a free kick in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's goalkeeper Abdulkadir Öğeturk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Davut Erşahan. In the 91st minute, Ahmet Davut Erşahan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SÜVEYDİYE TAFA SPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. 96 minutes into the match, Behçet Canol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Necdet Akkaya. SÜVEYDİYE TAFA SPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Behçet Canol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. SÜVEYDİYE TAFA SPOR's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
