Thanks to some nice moves Alfredo Esteves could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Roch Frankowski however easily saved by the left post. 1909 Tarnovia's Roch Frankowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Rosa in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to 1909 Tarnovia getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Zbyszko Topolski hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Caco Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, 1909 Tarnovia's Ludomir Boruta got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Alfredo Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Marzagão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Paulo Brito should have stopped the shot. César Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when César Rosa made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Marzagão getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Bebeto Xavier hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radoslaw Falkiewicz got free with Luiz Paulo Brito in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot by Tymoteusz Gondek from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Luiz Paulo Brito's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Roch Frankowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Marzagão's zone, Radoslaw Falkiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Paulo Brito came out of the goal and Radoslaw Falkiewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 67 minutes of play, 1909 Tarnovia's Radoslaw Falkiewicz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Paulo Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Radoslaw Falkiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the 1909 Tarnovia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radoslaw Falkiewicz couldn't finish the play. After 71 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Prado. If Radoslaw Falkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radoslaw Falkiewicz scored 1-4 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Paulo Brito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 88 minutes, Zula Bara made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Marzagão's Luiz Paulo Brito tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 94 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Caco Donato. When the final whistle sounded 1909 Tarnovia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Marzagão.
