Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Everardo Mambru started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Roma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Bartolome came free, but Edgardo Tono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everardo Mambru struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Benigno Ascencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roma FC. If Vicente Firmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 played minutes Roma FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Nahia. Inter Miami CF's Alejandro Bikendi got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th match minute, Roma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Taurino to maneuver through the defense. Edgardo Tono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Bartolome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Teo Lorencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Tono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes Inter Miami CF got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Bartolome. Teodosio Cordarius struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Edgardo Tono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Miami CF. Anibal Loiola scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Tono, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Virgilio Tulio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Ascencio having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Inter Miami CF got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Loiola. Teodosio Cordarius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Edgardo Tono made a huge save. Edgardo Tono was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Teodosio Cordarius capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teodosio Cordarius really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Edgardo Tono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Cordarius, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Everardo Mambru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 4-0 became the score in the 59th minute when Teodosio Cordarius elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 64 minutes, Everardo Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roma FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everardo Mambru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Roma FC's Virgilio Tulio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. In the 71st minute, Virgilio Tulio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Teodosio Cordarius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgardo Tono was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Lorencio in the 85th minute of play forced Roma FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Tono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anibal Loiola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hilario Fagildo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Alejandro Bikendi kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Roma FC's Flavio Illart got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lisandro Bartolome fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter Miami CF's protests and gave Lisandro Bartolome a yellow card for diving instead. Lisandro Bartolome kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Inter Miami CF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Roma FC for a fine match.
