After 48 minutes of play, GALACTICOS's Damian Diaz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiburcio Jorrin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The NANANANA LIIIDEER FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GALACTICOS were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomiro Toribio to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, NANANANA LIIIDEER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Bernaldo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to NANANANA LIIIDEER FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Fermin Macario hit a great ball. Flavio Cura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Cordearo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Omar Dobarral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiburcio Jorrin. That made the score 1-4 in the 74 minute of play. Cuero Cepa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Jorrin having to interfere. If Jaime Godinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Bernaldo struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Flavio Cura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NANANANA LIIIDEER FC. In the 98th minute Damian Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Jorrin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The GALACTICOS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GALACTICOS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
