An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Meier in the 3rd minute of play forced Chelsea Football Club's goalkeeper Felipe Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Flavio Gelacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute Sergio Veremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Anderjoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute Ivan Txeru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Anderjoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Veremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Anderjoli having to interfere. Chelsea Football Club's Felipe Acevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Theiler in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Chelsea Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Berdaitz to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Acevedo made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Enrico Vogt sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute Sergio Veremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Anderjoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chelsea Football Club's Virgilio Bihar got a free kick in the 24th minute. Feodor Thelen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Felipe Acevedo came out and tried to block the shot, but Feodor Thelen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Theiler got free with Felipe Acevedo in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enrico Vogt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Felipe Acevedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With 46 minutes on the clock, Augusto Hotz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 45th minute, one of Chelsea Football Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chelsea Football Club. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrico Vogt to make the kick off. The supporters of Chelsea Football Club booed when Zelg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregg Graber didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Anacleto Costante sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Zelg FC's Marian Anderjoli didn't even have to move. Zelg FC's Marian Anderjoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Txeru in the 62nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Txeru in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Anderjoli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Zelg FC booed when Chelsea Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Costante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabrizio Meier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Chelsea Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Feodor Thelen came free, but Felipe Acevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feodor Thelen scored 3-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felipe Acevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anacleto Costante kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Marian Anderjoli made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Ivan Txeru sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the game, Ivan Txeru lined in a short shot 3-2 behind a frustrated Marian Anderjoli. After a defensive mix-up in Zelg FC's zone, Anacleto Costante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Anderjoli came out of the goal and Anacleto Costante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Marian Anderjoli managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Chelsea Football Club's Ivan Txeru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ivan Txeru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zelg FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chelsea Football Club for a fine match.
