After 18 minutes, Paris Loukoumakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sheriff and the Conalep 197 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sheriff's Paris Loukoumakis got a free kick in the 18th minute. Fondas Koufaliotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Chuse in the 21st minute of the match. Alkis Bletsas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Joaquin Lizardi made a huge save. 27 minutes into the game, Conalep 197's Modesto Berriotxoa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fondas Koufaliotis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gabriel Isadore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Fondas Koufaliotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Lizardi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoris Kasnakidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Conalep 197's goal looked a bit too open when Stefanos Vrettos came free, but Joaquin Lizardi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes Conalep 197's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Menios Barbagiannis who took care of the corner kick. Jesus Dalmai tried in the game's 36th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Joaquin Lizardi. An annoying self made goal, 2-1. With a little luck, Conalep 197's Joaquin Lizardi got control of the ball when Omiros Prikourakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Sheriff's Stamatis Paspalakis was substituted for Omiros Prikourakis. After a rather tough play, Sheriff's Apostolikas Giannaros got a free kick in the 55th minute. Gabriel Isadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fondas Koufaliotis made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Gabriel Isadore sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Conalep 197 booed when Sheriff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menios Barbagiannis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Isadore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Fondas Koufaliotis made a huge save. After 64 minutes of play, Sheriff's Grigoris Kasnakidis made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Lizardi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 67 minutes into the match, Conalep 197's goal looked a bit too open when Stefanos Vrettos came free, but Joaquin Lizardi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Lizardi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigoris Kasnakidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72ndth minute of the game Grigoris Kasnakidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Conalep 197's Joaquin Lizardi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gabriel Isadore scored 5-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fondas Koufaliotis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gabriel Isadore fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Conalep 197's protests and gave Gabriel Isadore a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Conalep 197's Gabriel Isadore got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes, Sheriff's Paris Loukoumakis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Lizardi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alkis Bletsas in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Lizardi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the match, Stamatis Paspalakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Lizardi. Conalep 197's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stamatis Paspalakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2.
