Saša Matijašić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwyn Harper in the 15th minute of the match. Saša Matijašić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart Trotter in the 19th minute of play. Gwyn Harper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saša Matijašić having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Gwyn Harper cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Saša Matijašić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Kasey Shephard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The --Sibenik-- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Henley on Thames United were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Boro Višić made the kick off in the second half. Kasey Shephard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boro Višić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saša Matijašić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gwyn Harper in the 57th minute. If Bart Trotter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's Gwyn Harper sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saša Matijašić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th match minute, Henley on Thames United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trev Byfield to maneuver through the defense. Sven Budimović hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Henley on Thames United's Kasey Shephard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Hržić in the 78th minute of play. Boro Višić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Kasey Shephard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Henley on Thames United getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Johnathon Friebe hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the game, Boro Višić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kasey Shephard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 90 played minutes --Sibenik-- got a freekick which was hit by Neven Flajs. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oton Ćosić in the 95th minute of play forced Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Kasey Shephard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The --Sibenik-- supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Henley on Thames United's performance. The match ended with a win for Henley on Thames United.
