Spectators: 186 (Terracing: 140, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kjell-Arne Björkqvist got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Navigatii Bacău's Șerban Zegreanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torgny Fastesson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 9 minutes into the game, Kjell-Arne Björkqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Grigore Ozon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Bodil United's Torgny Fastesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Macamete in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Navigatii Bacău's Radu Dragușin got a free kick in the 15th minute. Torgny Fastesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Manolescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Viggo Ekblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigore Ozon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Șerban Zegreanu scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torgny Fastesson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Grigore Ozon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Ekblom in the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Bodil United's Krister Andberg got a free kick in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Navigatii Bacău's Radu Dragușin got a free kick in the 37th minute. When Nils Bokelund came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the FC Bodil United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Bokelund couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper Grigore Ozon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krister Andberg. In the 44th minute, Remus Zăraşcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudiu Manolescu was the one to do the kick off. Grigore Ozon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Björkqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Horea Stelea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Navigatii Bacău's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bodil United the free kick. Grigore Ozon came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bodil United's Kjell-Arne Björkqvist. But to his dismay, Kjell-Arne Björkqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 68th minute of the match Navigatii Bacău got a corner. FC Bodil United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vali Moșanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kjell-Arne Björkqvist hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. With 70 minutes on the clock, Nils Bokelund commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 87 minutes into the game, Navigatii Bacău's Șerban Zegreanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torgny Fastesson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Claudiu Manolescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Navigatii Bacău's Grigore Ozon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Barck in the 97th minute of play.
