Bograngen's Patrik Eriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Silva in the 8th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Valencia C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donald Marshall to maneuver through the defense. After 15 minutes, Hans Linberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bograngen and the Valencia C.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Bograngen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Linberg to maneuver through the defense. Bograngen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mário Kempes scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrik Eriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Valencia C.F.'s Tony Izzard got a free kick in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Bograngen getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Casper Dahlberg hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bograngen's zone, Garry Beaver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrik Eriksson came out of the goal and Garry Beaver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Hans Linberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Wesley Kerr, passed just outside the right post. In the 46th match minute, Bograngen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pangeran Cross to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mário Kempes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Garry Beaver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valencia C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Garry Beaver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrik Eriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrik Eriksson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mário Kempes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 55 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Linberg in the 61st minute of play forced Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Wesley Kerr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zackary Jenkins during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Nils-Åke Haström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Paul Biörk came free, but Wesley Kerr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mário Kempes let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 79th minute shot 1-4 at rihgt post. 84 minutes into the game, Sean Deighton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Patrik Eriksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When David Silva fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valencia C.F.'s protests and gave David Silva a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes Valencia C.F. got a freekick which was hit by David Silva. Pierce Deaconsfield kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Pangeran Cross hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Valencia C.F. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
