The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Mochila FC defense, Christian Gaúcho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tostão Varela. The Mochila FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tostão Varela should have stopped the shot. Rafael Borre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tostão Varela having to make a save. Mochila FC's Tostão Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Borre in the 27th minute of play. Alberto Sergipano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Inácio Marquez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edinho Sá lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Tostão Varela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andres D'Alessandro went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Mochila FC's zone, Rafael Borre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tostão Varela came out of the goal and Rafael Borre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Gaúcho struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Tostão Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dinamo Colorado. After 48 played minutes Mochila FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomé França. When Andres D'Alessandro came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Dinamo Colorado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres D'Alessandro couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael Borre made a kick off. Douglas Cabral took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Inácio Marquez. Dinamo Colorado's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Rafael Borre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Tostão Varela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Mochila FC fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Mochila FC's Alberto Sergipano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zé Roberto Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 82nd minute, Rafael Borre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
