After 6 minutes, Sabin Ichimescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Viitorul Buzau and the BRONCOS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cazimir Papadima got free with Ulrik Grubjerg in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sigfrid Bersabe's late challenge caught a -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 19th minute, BRONCOS's Owe Lehnskov seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Owe Lehnskov the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of BRONCOS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Owe Lehnskov had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in BRONCOS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Dumitru Corbea was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to BRONCOS getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sigfrid Bersabe hit a great ball. Filip Valerian charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filip Valerian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Walther Kellerup hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Ulrik Grubjerg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cazimir Papadima went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ejvin Stavnbo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Iulian Nisipeanu got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cazimir Papadima got free with Ulrik Grubjerg in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the match, BRONCOS's goalkeeper Ulrik Grubjerg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cazimir Papadima. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When Valther Havshøi fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BRONCOS's protests and gave Valther Havshøi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of -BZF- Viitorul Buzau booed when BRONCOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valther Havshøi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iulian Nisipeanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulrik Grubjerg. BRONCOS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dumitru Corbea in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulrik Grubjerg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iulian Nisipeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Cazimir Papadima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ulrik Grubjerg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Corbea in the 63rd minute of play forced BRONCOS's goalkeeper Ulrik Grubjerg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulrik Grubjerg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cazimir Papadima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicholas Aagot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Albert Gherghe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Nicholas Aagot put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Albert Gherghe. When Ivar Tode came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the BRONCOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivar Tode couldn't finish the play. The supporters of -BZF- Viitorul Buzau booed when BRONCOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Tode didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Albert Gherghe managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when BRONCOS's Nicholas Aagot fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 91st minute Dumitru Corbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrik Grubjerg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Cazimir Papadima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The -BZF- Viitorul Buzau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. -BZF- Viitorul Buzau had won after a very even match.
