After recieving a nice pass, INIXET BK's Magnus Skålberg tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Durvalino Carioca made a precise shot to the right of Kåre Blom. INIXET BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Bastioes EC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Wilson Arce hit a great ball. After 26 played minutes Bastioes EC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Bueno. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Blanck in the 28th minute of play forced Bastioes EC's goalkeeper João Paulo Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Paulo Paraense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kennet Håkansson in the 29th minute. João Paulo Paraense was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Per-Arne Alström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Per-Arne Alström really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The Bastioes EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Paulo Paraense should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, João Paulo Paraense successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, INIXET BK's Sven-Oskar Pihlberg got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the game, Durvalino Carioca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bastioes EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INIXET BK the free kick. After 44 played minutes Bastioes EC got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Carioca. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
