After 2 minutes, Durvalino Carioca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bastioes EC and the Harkujärve JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Durvalino Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Arno Vanaliin's late challenge caught a Bastioes EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arno Vanaliin helped the player get up and apologised. Harkujärve JK's Silver Saluste proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Harkujärve JK from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiit Kääpa in the 17th minute of play forced Bastioes EC's goalkeeper João Paulo Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Tiit Kääpa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Paulo Paraense. Bastioes EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiit Kääpa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Durvalino Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bastioes EC's Durvalino Carioca got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st match minute, Bastioes EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enéas Moraes to maneuver through the defense. João Paulo Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heino Hurm in the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of Harkujärve JK booed when Bastioes EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Tiit Kääpa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Heino Hurm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harkujärve JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heino Hurm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute Tiit Kääpa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltazar Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Bastioes EC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiit Kääpa came free, but João Paulo Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiit Kääpa made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Janek Vabadus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harkujärve JK and the Bastioes EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Harkujärve JK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Janek Vabadus hit a great ball. Harkujärve JK's Silver Saluste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durvalino Carioca in the 54th minute of play. Heino Hurm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harkujärve JK made a substitution. Rein Ess replaced Arvo Laaneoks. Durvalino Carioca scored 2-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silver Saluste, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Harkujärve JK's Hardi Rahumets got a free kick in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Bastioes EC's Durvalino Carioca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silver Saluste narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bastioes EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Durvalino Carioca in the 68th minute. Bastioes EC's Durvalino Carioca was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silver Saluste in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. João Paulo Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heino Hurm in the 78th minute of play. Janek Vabadus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of João Paulo Paraense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Bastioes EC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. André Luiz Nóbrega hit a great ball. Tiit Kääpa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Paulo Paraense having to make a save. Thanks to some nice moves Janno Arumäe could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which João Paulo Paraense however easily saved by the left post. In the 92nd match minute, Bastioes EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durvalino Carioca to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd match minute, Bastioes EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltazar Marquez to maneuver through the defense. The audience cheered loudly when Tiit Kääpa's long shot in the 94th minute became 2-2 when the ball went to the left of and passed João Paulo Paraense. Despite being the better team, Harkujärve JK failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
