Sporting Uai MzC™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dieguinho Dante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basílio Leal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelian Gologan went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Basílio Leal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergiu Costeiantu went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. UFC Veseud's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Matías Barral scored to the left of an out of position Ilie Lupșoiu, making the score, 2-2. In the 28th minute, Vladimir Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aurelian Gologan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergiu Costeiantu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Basílio Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th play minute Teodoro Prestes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ilie Lupșoiu. 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurelian Gologan was the one to do the kick off. Aurelian Gologan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Prestes during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sporting Uai MzC™'s Teodoro Prestes got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Teodoro Prestes made a precise shot to the right of Ilie Lupșoiu. UFC Veseud's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. With his leg Basílio Leal managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when UFC Veseud's Aurelian Gologan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aurelian Gologan scored 4-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basílio Leal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Basílio Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelian Gologan in the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Uai MzC™'s zone, Sergiu Costeiantu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Leal came out of the goal and Sergiu Costeiantu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelian Gologan in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Basílio Leal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Sporting Uai MzC™ defense, Aurelian Gologan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basílio Leal. The Sporting Uai MzC™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basílio Leal should have stopped the shot. Basílio Leal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelian Gologan's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelian Gologan in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basílio Leal saved Sporting Uai MzC™ from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the UFC Veseud players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
