American Airlines's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kranji Crunchy the free kick. In the 11th minute, Aurelio Lawrence hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosmo Kramer kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Cory Ludwig came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anwar Antoni could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cory Ludwig got free with Anwar Antoni in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, American Airlines's goal looked a bit too open when Kirun Tedjamukti came free, but Vern McAllister reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers George Costanza in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anwar Antoni saved Kranji Crunchy from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Cory Ludwig took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Anwar Antoni to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Kranji Crunchy's Komang Latuperisa got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 39th minute of the match Cory Ludwig shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anwar Antoni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Febri Kili-kili during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Febri Kili-kili hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Cory Ludwig came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anwar Antoni could save by the left post. Kranji Crunchy's Anwar Antoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cory Ludwig in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Costanza to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, American Airlines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Lawrence to maneuver through the defense. Kranji Crunchy's Maman Irawan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vern McAllister but with some difficulty. 54 minutes into the match, Kranji Crunchy's goal looked a bit too open when Cory Ludwig came free, but Anwar Antoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vern McAllister didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Budi Harmoko went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Bambang Kartolo's late challenge caught a American Airlines's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bambang Kartolo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of American Airlines booed when Kranji Crunchy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bambang Kartolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anwar Antoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Costanza, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Anwar Antoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cory Ludwig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th match minute, American Airlines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phil Craft to maneuver through the defense. Khusnul Kertaradjasa's late challenge caught a American Airlines's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Khusnul Kertaradjasa helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Kranji Crunchy got a freekick which was hit by Khusnul Kertaradjasa. 3-1 became the score in the 89th minute when Winfred Potter elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Anwar Antoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Costanza, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. American Airlines's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
