The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Risto Lako took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Arturo Ferrer to make any attempt to save it. Serian Duro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valerio Zayas, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Risto Lako could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Arturo Ferrer made a huge save. Club Atlético Lea Papá's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joaquín Montalvo in the 14th minute. Joaquín Montalvo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute of the game Edgardo Del Rio made a throw-in which Arnie Ocaña played forward. When Herald Karapici fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rrape's protests and gave Herald Karapici a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Arnie Ocaña got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes Club Atlético Lea Papá's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ekrem Haxhiaj who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Rrape's corner Ekrem Haxhiaj fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arturo Ferrer quite easily take care of the ball. Arturo Ferrer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Skerdi Oparaku in the 35th minute. Joaquín Montalvo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Serian Duro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serian Duro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valerio Zayas in the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Skerdi Oparaku to make the kick off. Valerio Zayas struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Serian Duro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Lea Papá. In the 58th minute, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Arnie Ocaña seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arnie Ocaña the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Atlético Lea Papá protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arnie Ocaña had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Atlético Lea Papá fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Rrape a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ekrem Haxhiaj, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Atlético Lea Papá's Arturo Ferrer. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebio Ochoa in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serian Duro saved Rrape from getting behind. Arturo Ferrer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Risto Lako, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusebio Ochoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Germán Madrid got a free kick in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebio Ochoa in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serian Duro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Germán Madrid sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serian Duro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Serian Duro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebio Ochoa's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Risto Lako hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Serian Duro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eusebio Ochoa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 92 minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rrape fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atlético Lea Papá had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
