ЦСКА's Yakim Kunchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Nittel in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Nittel in the 5th minute of play forced ЦСКА's goalkeeper Yakim Kunchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfred Boymanns got free with Yakim Kunchev in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Marvelous Thiel came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Vorwärts Lübeck fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marvelous Thiel couldn't finish the play. Yakim Kunchev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfred Boymanns went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Nittel in the 21st minute of play forced ЦСКА's goalkeeper Yakim Kunchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfred Boymanns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the game, Vorwärts Lübeck's Emanuel Nittel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yakim Kunchev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a little luck, ЦСКА's Yakim Kunchev got control of the ball when Alfred Boymanns tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Bernhard Stammler dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yakim Kunchev, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Nittel in the 35th minute of play forced ЦСКА's goalkeeper Yakim Kunchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Vorwärts Lübeck's Emanuel Nittel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yakim Kunchev. Yakim Kunchev yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernhard Stammler in the 43rd minute of play forced ЦСКА's goalkeeper Yakim Kunchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yakim Kunchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Nittel in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Kuzman Nedelkov made the kick off in the second half. Yakim Kunchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marvelous Thiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yakim Kunchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Nittel in the 52nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the ЦСКА defense, Emanuel Nittel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yakim Kunchev. The ЦСКА fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yakim Kunchev should have stopped the shot. Yakim Kunchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernhard Stammler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the game, Bernhard Stammler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Yakim Kunchev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Trayko Trendafilov put in a rough tackle. Yakim Kunchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Wild in the 93rd minute of the match. Yakim Kunchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Nittel in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Vorwärts Lübeck players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
