The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt Jönsson during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Bengt Jönsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 蔡枫林 took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kurt Vallengren. Kurt Vallengren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kurt Vallengren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 于林镇 went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of ☆冰谷☆ Star City F.C. booed when Asarum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Skoog didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute Bengt Jönsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 江朗正 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt Jönsson kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 陈升帆 in the 39th minute of play forced Asarum's goalkeeper Kurt Vallengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Asarum getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Bengt-Rune Bern hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 蔡枫林 in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kurt Vallengren saved Asarum from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Bengt Jönsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asarum's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt Jönsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 江朗正 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. But to his dismay, Aaron Lindsten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 67 minutes into the game, 陈升帆 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ☆冰谷☆ Star City F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asarum the free kick. After 67 played minutes ☆冰谷☆ Star City F.C. got a freekick which was hit by 陈升帆. 蔡枫林 charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 蔡枫林 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th match minute, ☆冰谷☆ Star City F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 蔡枫林 to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to ☆冰谷☆ Star City F.C. getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. 蔡枫林 hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when 倪正宇 got free with Kurt Vallengren in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 蔡枫林 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Kurt Vallengren made a huge save. The ☆冰谷☆ Star City F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ☆冰谷☆ Star City F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
