Zeledon Locaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafaela FC's Prospero Calvino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Rafaela FC from getting a goal against them. After 7 minutes Rafaela FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastiaan Hofland who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Hurko during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th of the match, Derk Wehkamp tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Prospero Calvino got in the way and made a wonderful save. 15 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Prospero Calvino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gijs Carel. After having played for 16 minutes, Gijs Carel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SCs StarS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijs Carel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prospero Calvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derk Wehkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Roel Sandbergen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Hurko in the 23rd minute of play. Teobaldo Orlo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's Sebastiaan Hofland broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Rafaela FC's Fausto Timo in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Derk Wehkamp to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijs Carel in the 51st minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Prospero Calvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Sebastiaan Hofland put in a rough tackle. A collision led to SCs StarS getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Sebastiaan Hofland hit a great ball. Rafaela FC's Prospero Calvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo Hateboer in the 71st minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Theo Hateboer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Prospero Calvino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The SCs StarS fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when SCs StarS's Derk Wehkamp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Gonsalvo in the 84th minute of play forced SCs StarS's goalkeeper Roel Sandbergen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Folkert Geurtsen hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goalkeeper Roel Sandbergen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adan Gonsalvo. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind SCs StarS's goalkeeper Roel Sandbergen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rafaela FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
