A collision led to Clapham Comets F.C. getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Ruben Pilkington hit a great ball. The supporters of SCs StarS booed when Clapham Comets F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Pilkington didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 minutes, Folkert Geurtsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SCs StarS and the Clapham Comets F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Folkert Geurtsen kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Roel Sandbergen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piers Nethercot, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Piers Nethercot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roel Sandbergen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gijs Carel kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Calvin Bourton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Conan Shields proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Clapham Comets F.C. from getting a goal against them. Roel Sandbergen came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Clapham Comets F.C.'s Vinnie Small. But to his dismay, Vinnie Small quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. SCs StarS's Roel Sandbergen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinnie Small in the 26th minute of play. Conan Wiseman hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinnie Small in the 38th minute of play forced SCs StarS's goalkeeper Roel Sandbergen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Vinnie Small cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Roel Sandbergen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Derk Wehkamp to strike the kick off in the second half. Leigh Case sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinnie Small received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roel Sandbergen came out and tried to block the shot, but Vinnie Small slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 56th minute. Conan Shields took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derk Wehkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Piers Nethercot kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roel Sandbergen. That made the score 0-6 in the 64 minute of play. In the 67th match minute, SCs StarS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iwan Stolte to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goalkeeper Roel Sandbergen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Calvin Bourton. With a little luck, SCs StarS's Roel Sandbergen got control of the ball when Piers Nethercot tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 78 played minutes Clapham Comets F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Piers Nethercot. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Conan Shields played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derk Wehkamp in the 82nd minute of play. Conan Shields made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo Hateboer in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Folkert Geurtsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Piers Nethercot took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Roel Sandbergen to make any attempt to save it. 92 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goal looked a bit too open when Piers Nethercot came free, but Roel Sandbergen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clapham Comets F.C. played a much better game than SCs StarS and deserved their victory. The SCs StarS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
