Xanda FC's Pedrão Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Pacifico in the 8th minute of play. Abelardo Terciero hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Rodolfo Iliana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adhemar Quintal in the 24th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres Pacifico in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrão Coutinho saved Xanda FC from getting behind. After having played for 38 minutes, Igor Goito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Masters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Goito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Xanda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Terciero came free, but Pedrão Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bonifacio Fidencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th match minute, The Masters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Terciero to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, The Masters's Ernesto Isidor got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half The Masters were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Xanda FC's Pedrão Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Fidencio in the 54th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Goito got free with Pedrão Coutinho in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 59 minutes, Jorginho Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xanda FC and the The Masters players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Xanda FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Alves. With his leg Pedrão Coutinho managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when The Masters's Andres Pacifico fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bonifacio Fidencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Pedrão Coutinho made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Abelardo Terciero managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Masters's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Terciero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrão Coutinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Xanda FC's Pedrão Coutinho got control of the ball when Bonifacio Fidencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eusebio Baumar hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
