After having played for 2 minutes, André Castanheira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altamora FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Castanheira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ademar Baía took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olle Söderkvist. Olle Söderkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When João Candeias fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altamora FC's protests and gave João Candeias a yellow card for diving instead. Norberto Vilanova made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Kielberg in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Castanheira in the 18th minute of play forced Telge77's goalkeeper Olle Söderkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Altamora FC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Altamora FC's Serafim Jordão looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that André Castanheira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olle Söderkvist was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 25th minute, Ademar Baía ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olle Söderkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ademar Baía in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olle Söderkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Altamora FC's Ademar Baía in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Telge77's goalie prevented a goal. Caio Palma hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Blomkvist in the 37th minute of play forced Altamora FC's goalkeeper Norberto Vilanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olle Söderkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Castanheira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Bo Kielberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Telge77 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The audience was convinced that Serafim Jordão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olle Söderkvist was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Bo Kielberg made the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute, Telge77's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Serafim Jordão fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Castanheira in the 66th minute of play forced Telge77's goalkeeper Olle Söderkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Telge77's Magnus Skarkman got a free kick in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the game, André Castanheira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olle Söderkvist. André Castanheira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. 71 minutes into the match, André Castanheira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Olle Söderkvist, 1-6. André Castanheira took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olle Söderkvist. Olle Söderkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. After 83rd play minutes Zeferino Lage shot 1-8, a short shot which went by Olle Söderkvist and just under the crossbar into goal. 86 minutes into the game, Altamora FC's André Castanheira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olle Söderkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. When the match was over Altamora FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Telge77 throughout the match.
