Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Jerico started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Sebastian Gimenez took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ivan Veiga to make any attempt to save it. Gaviotas FC's Pedro Asur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Lustosa in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Cassandros Elite Team got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Carvalhais. Cassandros Elite Team were furious when Diogo Carvalhais was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Cassandros Elite Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gaviotas FC:s goal. Ivan Veiga had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Baldomiro Oliverios's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ivan Veiga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Jerico in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Oliverios dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivan Veiga, 2-0. After 31 minutes Gaviotas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was António Figueiras who took care of the corner kick. Cassandros Elite Team's António Figueiras was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Asur in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. António Figueiras blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Asur having to make a save. 38 minutes into the game, Cassandros Elite Team's Tobias Cerqueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Asur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 42nd minute of the match, Jaime Jerico got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ivan Veiga was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 43rd minute Sebastian Gimenez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Lustosa to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaston Gudesteo took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Veiga. Ivan Veiga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. When Gaviotas FC's Jaime Jerico in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cassandros Elite Team's goalie prevented a goal. In the 57th minute Baldomiro Oliverios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel Lustosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Patricio Oriol replaced Elias Ursino. In the 64th match minute, Cassandros Elite Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Figueiras to maneuver through the defense. Gaviotas FC's Ildefonso Ortle was substituted for Baldomiro Oliverios. After a rather tough play, Cassandros Elite Team's António Figueiras got a free kick in the 66th minute. The supporters of Gaviotas FC booed when Cassandros Elite Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Máximo Barcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Gudesteo in the 71st minute of play forced Cassandros Elite Team's goalkeeper Ivan Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Gusmão Álvares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Ortle, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When Esteve Naelio came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Gaviotas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteve Naelio couldn't finish the play. Ivan Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Jerico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Cassandros Elite Team's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Ortle came free, but Ivan Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Jerico scored 5-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Veiga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivan Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Ortle in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Ortle in the 91st minute of play forced Cassandros Elite Team's goalkeeper Ivan Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gaviotas FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Isidro Vimaro hit a great ball. Cassandros Elite Team's Máximo Barcelos pulled a muscle in his leg after 94 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 94 minutes, Ildefonso Ortle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaviotas FC and the Cassandros Elite Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gaviotas FC's Ildefonso Ortle got a free kick in the 96th minute. Gaviotas FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
