The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Boleslaw Bykowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. After 5th play minutes Ludomir Lizewski shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Juarês Linares and just under the crossbar into goal. Lukasz Fleischer hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Hamílton Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Juarês Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boleslaw Bykowski in the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Kurzawka booed when RACING FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliézer Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Hamílton Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RACING FBPA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamílton Prestes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. RACING FBPA's Juarês Linares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save RACING FBPA from getting a goal against them. Sebastião Donatello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. RACING FBPA's Juarês Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomir Lizewski in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Ludomir Lizewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juarês Linares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Juarês Linares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 40th minute Boleslaw Bykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juarês Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boleslaw Bykowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to RACING FBPA getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Armandinho Torres hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armandinho Torres made a kick off. Juarês Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boleslaw Bykowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Pietrasz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês Linares having to interfere. Gwidon Radzyminski hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Kurzawka's goalkeeper Witalis Wojtyna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armandinho Torres. After 63 played minutes Kurzawka got a freekick which was hit by Napoleon Dec. 66 minutes into the match, Kurzawka's goal looked a bit too open when Armandinho Torres came free, but Witalis Wojtyna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Pedro Paulo Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurzawka made a substitution. Robert Szel replaced Lukasz Fleischer. In the 73rd match minute, RACING FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paulo Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of RACING FBPA booed when Kurzawka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Dec didn't get a good kick on the ball.
