Hugo Cerezo came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Zielonka Gdansk's Jaroslaw Fiszer. But to his dismay, Jaroslaw Fiszer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some careless play in the S. E. Palestra defense, Miromir Madajczyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Cerezo. The S. E. Palestra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Cerezo should have stopped the shot. Hugo Cerezo came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Zielonka Gdansk's Jaroslaw Fiszer. But to his dismay, Jaroslaw Fiszer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Jaroslaw Fiszer took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Cerezo. Hugo Cerezo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. S. E. Palestra's Hugo Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Fiszer in the 36th minute of play. The Zielonka Gdansk fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Zielonka Gdansk's Jaroslaw Fiszer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hugo Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Mojsiewicz in the 42nd minute of the match. S. E. Palestra's Hugo Cerezo got control of the ball when Marek Mojsiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Mojsiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Rui Trancoso charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui Trancoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th minute, Rui Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredinho Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Hugo Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslaw Fiszer in the 67th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felippe Sena during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, S. E. Palestra's Hugo Cerezo got control of the ball when Jaroslaw Fiszer tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Jaroslaw Fiszer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Hugo Cerezo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. S. E. Palestra's Hugo Cerezo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save S. E. Palestra from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute, Zielonka Gdansk's Jaroslaw Fiszer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hugo Cerezo. Palestra's Rui Trancoso was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Zielonka Gdansk booed when S. E. Palestra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaroslaw Fiszer had several of the S. E. Palestra's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-11 score and a disappointed Hugo Cerezo as he didn't even see the shot coming. 91 minutes into the match, Zbigniew Wicherek notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of S. E. Palestra's Hugo Cerezo. Hugo Cerezo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 94 played minutes Zielonka Gdansk got a freekick which was hit by Witomir Smolak. 95 minutes into the match, Delfim Vergílio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilbert Pietras. Zielonka Gdansk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delfim Vergílio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-12. When the final whistle sounded Zielonka Gdansk left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than S. E. Palestra.
