Anísio Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Pihlblad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Gnaget United FC's Osvald Hellström got control of the ball when Danilo Laguna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Augusto Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Osvald Hellström made a huge save. Edu Schmidt hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Osvald Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Azevedo in the 19th minute of play. Osvald Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Laguna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Gnaget United FC got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Aleberg. 29 minutes into the match, Richard Trancoso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Osvald Hellström, 1-0. In the 33rd minute Joar Lilja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anísio Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gnaget United FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pär Hedvall hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Gnaget United FC defense, Carlos Augusto Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvald Hellström. The Gnaget United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvald Hellström should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Osvald Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Augusto Azevedo in the 52nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Gnaget United FC defense, Carlos Augusto Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvald Hellström. The Gnaget United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvald Hellström should have stopped the shot. Joar Lilja blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anísio Sena having to make a save. SRP-Laguna's Alex Sarmento managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tomas Åkesson in the 60 minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, Carlos Augusto Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osvald Hellström. Gnaget United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Augusto Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. If Danilo Laguna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gnaget United FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Tomas Åkesson hit a great ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Carlos Augusto Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SRP-Laguna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Augusto Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Åke Dahlgren fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gnaget United FC's protests and gave Åke Dahlgren a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SRP-Laguna booed when Gnaget United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Dahlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Laguna took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvald Hellström. Osvald Hellström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 81 minutes into the game, Danilo Laguna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Osvald Hellström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Osvald Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Laguna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SRP-Laguna had played much better football throughout.
