Green Hell F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 10th minute, Fanis Kalatzis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michalis Simopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Osborn in the 13th minute of play. Marty Dunn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Simopoulos having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Kirk Brazier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michalis Simopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marty Dunn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michalis Simopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Radcliffe in the 24th minute of play. Fanis Kalatzis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damion Wainwright having to interfere. Paris Nestoriou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damion Wainwright having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marty Dunn to make the kick off. Green Hell F.C.'s Michalis Simopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marty Dunn in the 67th minute of play. William Radcliffe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Michalis Simopoulos made a huge save. If Paris Nestoriou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
