In the 6th minute of the match, Fanis Kalatzis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eddie Sparrow saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 8th minute, Barnard Meyers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frenchville Sports Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fanis Kalatzis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michalis Simopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendan Gannan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Barnard Meyers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frenchville Sports Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Barnard Meyers scored 0-3 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michalis Simopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Green Hell F.C.'s zone, Brendan Gannan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michalis Simopoulos came out of the goal and Brendan Gannan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barnard Meyers hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Michalis Simopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curtis Monson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michalis Simopoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darley Worsley went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 33 minutes into the match, Darley Worsley notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Green Hell F.C.'s Michalis Simopoulos. Michalis Simopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Green Hell F.C.'s Michalis Simopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnard Meyers in the 37th minute of play. The Green Hell F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Frenchville Sports Club were winning 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barnard Meyers made a kick off. Argyris Moustakis hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Brendan Gannan hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 56 played minutes Frenchville Sports Club got a freekick which was hit by Darley Worsley. With a little luck, Green Hell F.C.'s Michalis Simopoulos got control of the ball when Barnard Meyers tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Darley Worsley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michalis Simopoulos was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Michalis Simopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendan Gannan in the 62nd minute of play. Fanis Kalatzis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Green Hell F.C. booed when Frenchville Sports Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Crapp didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brendan Gannan in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michalis Simopoulos saved Green Hell F.C. from getting behind. Michalis Simopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darley Worsley in the 78th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paris Nestoriou during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute, Paris Nestoriou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michalis Simopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Gannan, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Barnard Meyers in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Michalis Simopoulos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 92nd minute, Frenchville Sports Club's Darley Worsley dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barnard Meyers in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michalis Simopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Frenchville Sports Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Green Hell F.C. throughout the match.
