In the 26thth minute of the game Cezar Bărnuțiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ekedalen SK's Gustav Mårtensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Henric Sjöström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ekedalen SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minerul Baita -MM- the free kick. The Minerul Baita -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nicolae Mandache looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 86th match minute, Ekedalen SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Vestlund to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute of the match Mugur Hurmuzache sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustav Mårtensson skillfully saved the ball. When Dudu Georgescu fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Minerul Baita -MM- fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ekedalen SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
