Claudio Jaen started the match with the kick off. Miguel Victoro hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Innes McWalter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Jaen. In the 8th minute, Claudio Jaen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Innes McWalter was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Innes McWalter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Jaen in the 18th minute of play. Claudio Jaen didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 19th minute. Padrón 1744's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 28th minute, Robin Laidlaw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Padrón 1744's Claudio Jaen in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gavião Kyikatejê's goalie prevented a goal. Claudio Jaen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Innes McWalter came out and tried to block the shot, but Claudio Jaen slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 35th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blair Armstrong during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Gavião Kyikatejê got a freekick which was hit by Blair Armstrong. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Neil McKinnon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bob McMillan came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lino Ganix could save by the left post. 56 minutes into the match, Apolo Foro notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Gavião Kyikatejê's Innes McWalter. Innes McWalter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Gavião Kyikatejê defense, Apolo Foro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Innes McWalter. The Gavião Kyikatejê fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Innes McWalter should have stopped the shot. If Salvador Castulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Claudio Jaen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Padrón 1744's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Jaen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Innes McWalter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Robin Laidlaw fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gavião Kyikatejê's protests and gave Robin Laidlaw a yellow card for diving instead. Robin Laidlaw hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute of the match Rolando Toro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Innes McWalter skillfully saved the ball. During the 68th minute of the match Blair Armstrong completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Blair Armstrong a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 69th minute, Blair Armstrong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute of the match Miguel Victoro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Innes McWalter skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Gavião Kyikatejê booed when Padrón 1744 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Foro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavião Kyikatejê's Innes McWalter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Emmanuel in the 74th minute of play. Innes McWalter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Victoro in the 76th minute of play. Salvador Castulo struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Innes McWalter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Padrón 1744. After 79 minutes, Lloyd McCodrum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gavião Kyikatejê and the Padrón 1744 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Gavião Kyikatejê was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lloyd McCodrum to maneuver through the defense. Innes McWalter came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Padrón 1744's Apolo Foro. But to his dismay, Apolo Foro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Padrón 1744's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Neil McKinnon scored to the left of an out of position Lino Ganix, making the score, 8-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Padrón 1744 fully deserved thier win.
