After 4 played minutes Bene Animatus got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Rezende. 6 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Burni notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bene Animatus's Ivo Domingues. Ivo Domingues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 12 minutes Aves Negras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arnaldo Luz who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Charles Lopes drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind Aves Negras's goalkeeper. Rodolfo Burni might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivo Domingues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo Burni ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Urbano Koldo put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ivo Domingues. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Koldo in the 31st minute of play forced Bene Animatus's goalkeeper Ivo Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bene Animatus getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Nilton Trigo hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes, Bene Animatus's Arnaldo Luz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ciriaco Calvino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bene Animatus reached it. 1-3 became the score in the 41st minute when Urbano Koldo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Abaurre during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sebastian Abaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Bene Animatus's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Burni came free, but Ivo Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

After 50 played minutes Bene Animatus got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Rezende. Ivo Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Burni in the 51st minute of the match. Urbano Koldo's late challenge caught a Bene Animatus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urbano Koldo helped the player get up and apologised. Urbano Koldo kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 67thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Bene Animatus's keeper Ivo Domingues was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. With a little luck, Bene Animatus's Ivo Domingues got control of the ball when Urbano Koldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 69 played minutes Bene Animatus got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Luz. Urbano Koldo took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivo Domingues. Ivo Domingues dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Bene Animatus's Ivo Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Burni in the 81st minute of play. Luisito Errando hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 4-4 when Carlos Simão sped through Aves Negras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ciriaco Calvino. 94 minutes into the game, Luisito Errando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aves Negras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bene Animatus the free kick. A collision led to Aves Negras getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Luisito Errando hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
