In the 4thth minute of the game Balduin Kühlem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amager FC's Frank Kliving was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 6th minute, Vincent Brimberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gordon Schmedemann came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Amager FC's Toke Gelin. But to his dismay, Toke Gelin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Frank Kliving made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balduin Kühlem in the 11th minute of play. Micki Arnø had several of the FC Germania München's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Gordon Schmedemann as he didn't even see the shot coming. Waldemar Wittke struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Frank Kliving didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Germania München. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Balduin Kühlem sped through Amager FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frank Kliving. Bernard Gerlings struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Gordon Schmedemann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amager FC. In the 27th minute, Balduin Kühlem ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frank Kliving was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Nigel Weinschenck who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Gordon Schmedemann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 35th match minute, Amager FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hasse Ulriksholm to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Amager FC's zone, Erik Fresow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Kliving came out of the goal and Erik Fresow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Balduin Kühlem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Benjamin Jütte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nigel Weinschenck in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gordon Schmedemann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Amager FC defense, Balduin Kühlem kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frank Kliving. The Amager FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank Kliving should have stopped the shot. FC Germania München's Gordon Schmedemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nigel Weinschenck in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Nigel Weinschenck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amager FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-5. Nigel Weinschenck hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Nigel Weinschenck notched a goal, 5-5, to the right of FC Germania München's Gordon Schmedemann. Gordon Schmedemann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Germania München's Rainer Maria Rauhaus was substituted for Henrico Gauweiler. A collision led to FC Germania München getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Raik Wahlberg hit a great ball. Toke Gelin hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the match Vitus Kasik sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frank Kliving skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Amager FC's Hasse Ulriksholm got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
