José Pedro de Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bilgin Yenisey in the 19th managed to get into a good position. The CAN ERZURUM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Asım Usman should have stopped the shot. José Pedro de Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aha Gol went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Eurico França could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Asım Usman made a huge save. Tony Custódio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 35 minutes into the match. Özden Uruç might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Pedro de Godoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Aha Gol made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as CAN ERZURUM's Faruk Nafiz Ökmener slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Pedro de Godoi. That made the score 1-5 after 54 minutes of play. José Pedro de Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faruk Nafiz Ökmener went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Golo Machinam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro de Godoi having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Faruk Nafiz Ökmener left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CAN ERZURUM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. 72 minutes into the match, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper José Pedro de Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faruk Nafiz Ökmener. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Okan Buruk put in a rough tackle. Okan Buruk hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Lúcio Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bilgin Yenisey in the 82nd minute of play forced Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper José Pedro de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faruk Nafiz Ökmener took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Pedro de Godoi. José Pedro de Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. Faruk Nafiz Ökmener came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and José Pedro de Godoi could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Aha Gol took a quick shot and it went in 1-9 without a chance for José Pedro de Godoi to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded CAN ERZURUM left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nova Erechim - FSCMZ.
