Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Almir do Vale in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kay Kessler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jarbas Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, México Eterno MZC's goalkeeper Almir Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregor Jehle. Chris Osterholt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Almir Salles having to make a save. Manuel Erkeling kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to México Eterno MZC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. José Carlos Guimarães hit a great ball. Almir Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Erkeling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes México Eterno MZC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo de Toledo. The supporters of F.C CAN BÄCKEREI booed when México Eterno MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almir do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Heinz Wesseler charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Heinz Wesseler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karl-Heinz Wesseler kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Heinz Wesseler to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Chris Osterholt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Karl-Heinz Wesseler made a precise shot to the right of Almir Salles. México Eterno MZC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 60 played minutes México Eterno MZC got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Guimarães. If Chris Osterholt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C CAN BÄCKEREI's Kay Kessler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save F.C CAN BÄCKEREI from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, Manuel Erkeling left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C CAN BÄCKEREI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some careless play in the México Eterno MZC defense, Chris Osterholt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Almir Salles. The México Eterno MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Almir Salles should have stopped the shot. Manuel Erkeling struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Almir Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C CAN BÄCKEREI. Kay Kessler made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Mario Balotelli sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Balotelli in the 87th minute of play forced F.C CAN BÄCKEREI's goalkeeper Kay Kessler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Erkeling blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Almir Salles having to make a save. When Manuel Erkeling came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the F.C CAN BÄCKEREI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Erkeling couldn't finish the play. México Eterno MZC's Almir Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Heinz Wesseler in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the F.C CAN BÄCKEREI players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
