Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severo Eudoxio during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Guanacos's Severo Eudoxio got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 7 played minutes Hartlepool got a freekick which was hit by Allan Ahlfors. Karl Stolpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Iratze in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th play minute Stig-Ove Alberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Candido Meder. 1-0. After 22 played minutes Guanacos got a freekick which was hit by Severo Eudoxio. After 26 played minutes Guanacos got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Iago. Evelio Havier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Stolpe having to interfere. Karl Stolpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Havier, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Lucas Iratze charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Iratze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Guanacos got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Iratze. Karl Stolpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Urdaspal in the 40th minute of play. After 47 minutes, Lucas Iratze made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hartlepool's Karl Stolpe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Iratze was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match, Silvano Urdaspal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karl Stolpe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 57th minute Casimiro Iago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Stolpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hartlepool's zone, Evelio Havier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Stolpe came out of the goal and Evelio Havier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute of the match, Silvano Urdaspal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karl Stolpe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Evelio Havier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Stolpe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Evelio Havier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Karl Stolpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Candido Meder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oskar Tunström went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erland Björkkvist during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Guanacos booed when Hartlepool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erland Björkkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severo Eudoxio lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guanacos! Candido Meder had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Ingvar Sundström's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a little luck, Hartlepool's Karl Stolpe got control of the ball when Silvano Urdaspal tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Guanacos getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ruben Bernat hit a great ball. Candido Meder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Dalman, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Ruben Bernat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl Stolpe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Ruben Bernat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Karl Stolpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
