Plumerillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geronimo Satordi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Plumerillo getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Nicasio Madaleno hit a great ball. With a little luck, Waffem Fc's Aldo Restu got control of the ball when Baldomero Gomez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute Maximo Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Raulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Azevedo in the 29th minute of play forced Plumerillo's goalkeeper Paulo Raulo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Restu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Lorencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Waffem Fc booed when Plumerillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Chayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Eusebio Fertus put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Waffem Fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Plumerillo:s goal. Plumerillo were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Waffem Fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Baldomero Gomez took the corner. Cecilio Silbestre hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. David Errapel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Aldo Restu made a huge save. Aldo Restu made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Errapel in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 79th match minute, Plumerillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Madaleno to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th match minute, Waffem Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Quinton to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Gomez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aldo Restu. Waffem Fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Waffem Fc's Cecilio Silbestre got a free kick in the 88th minute. Virgilio Quinton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
