BURITIS FC's Adrianinho Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stef Roordink in the 12th minute of play. Sjoerd Brinks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almir Trigo in the 19th minute of play. Almir Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sjoerd Brinks having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Who Ate All Depay got a freekick which was hit by Jan Rein Pieters. Stef Roordink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36th minute, Jonathan Kikkert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Who Ate All Depay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Adrianinho Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stef Roordink in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Who Ate All Depay's Klaas Numan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrianinho Arósio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ernani Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Who Ate All Depay were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Kikkert was the one to do the kick off. Joel Pombal went to the cornerflag to take it. BURITIS FC's Joel Pombal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sjoerd Brinks in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, BURITIS FC's Vivaldo Veiga got a free kick in the 60th minute. It was beautiful to see Who Ate All Depay's Johan Stolte in action when he in the 62nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Almir Trigo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. A collision led to Who Ate All Depay getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Johan Stolte hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Joel Pombal in the 73rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Sjoerd Brinks's left hand side. The Who Ate All Depay fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Who Ate All Depay's Jonathan Kikkert looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ernani Paraense scored 1-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sjoerd Brinks, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stef Roordink in the 87th minute of play forced BURITIS FC's goalkeeper Adrianinho Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Who Ate All Depay booed when BURITIS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vivaldo Veiga hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Who Ate All Depay played a much better game than BURITIS FC and deserved their victory. The BURITIS FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
