Melker Granqvist's late challenge caught a Australian Youth Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melker Granqvist helped the player get up and apologised. Australian Youth Academy's Herman Heberle got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hummerfiskarna's Noah Johansson got his second yellow card of the match in the 26th minute. The referee ordered Noah Johansson off the ground. The supporters of Australian Youth Academy booed when Hummerfiskarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 31st minute, one of Hummerfiskarna:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hummerfiskarna. Australian Youth Academy's Nathaniel Eastman got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sam Cudmore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Göran Östlund made the kick off in the second half. Remy Breasley scored 1-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gottfrid Kullander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Remy Breasley notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Hummerfiskarna's Gottfrid Kullander. In the 90th minute, Carmichael Baba made a precise shot to the right of Gottfrid Kullander.
