When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Jose Vincent sped through FC Budapest's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tibor Földes. After some careless play in the FC Budapest defense, Mauricio Ondino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tibor Földes. The FC Budapest fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tibor Földes should have stopped the shot. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tibor Földes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 71 played minutes FC Budapest got a freekick which was hit by Endre Holló. After 72 played minutes FC Budapest got a freekick which was hit by Elemér Szabó. When Eleuterio Fortun fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ELMUÑE's protests and gave Eleuterio Fortun a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ELMUÑE getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Eleuterio Fortun hit a great ball. In the 80th minute Olivér Dömötör shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tibor Földes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
