Momentum FC's Tomas Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Vincent in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Vincent came free, but Tomas Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Momentum FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Leandro Chumo hit a great ball. Tomas Mambru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Anselmo Haritzs short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Mauricio Santiago to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Roque Tab took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mauricio Santiago. ELMUÑE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pablo Taurino during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ELMUÑE getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Pablo Taurino hit a great ball. The supporters of ELMUÑE booed when Momentum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Igon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Jose Vincent notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Momentum FC's Tomas Mambru. Tomas Mambru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute Jonatan Maju shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Eliu kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Tomas Mambru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonatan Maju to strike the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Maju in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Jonatan Maju managed to get in a good position for a shot. Momentum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Maju was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Santiago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mauricio Santiago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonatan Maju's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Jonatan Maju sped through ELMUÑE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mauricio Santiago. 59 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Ondino came free, but Tomas Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute ELMUÑE were awarded a corner. Pablo Taurino went to the cornerflag to take it. ELMUÑE were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Momentum FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pablo Taurino took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Pablo Taurino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomas Mambru quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 68thth minute of the game Cirilo Batista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Momentum FC's Tomas Mambru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Mambru was a little too slow when Americo Matthew got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-3. After 78 minutes, Jonatan Maju mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Momentum FC and the ELMUÑE players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ELMUÑE booed when Momentum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Maju didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Matthew in the 92nd minute of the match. Anselmo Haritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Mauricio Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Momentum FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ELMUÑE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
