The crowd rose to their feet as SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's Hamza Bayındır slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gumaro Taranco. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. The supporters of Obrero Barquisimeto booed when SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onur Toktahan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th match minute, SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kerimhan Oğurata to maneuver through the defense. Alex Aliprando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd match minute, SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özal Barbaros to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi got a freekick which was hit by Onur Toktahan. SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's Hamza Bayındır got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Froilan Molino's late challenge caught a SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Froilan Molino helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi booed when Obrero Barquisimeto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Molino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Onur Toktahan hit a great ball. When Marcelo Martins came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Obrero Barquisimeto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Martins couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute Hamza Bayındır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gumaro Taranco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Isaias Urriola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gumaro Taranco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamza Bayındır in the 58th minute of play. Obrero Barquisimeto's Alex Aliprando got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the game, Rafettin Korkutalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Obrero Barquisimeto the free kick. Rafettin Korkutalp hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Hamza Bayındır had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gumaro Taranco. Obrero Barquisimeto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hamza Bayındır was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Gumaro Taranco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Onur Toktahan in the 82nd minute of play. Onur Toktahan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamza Bayındır in the 90th minute of play forced Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper Gumaro Taranco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes of play, Obrero Barquisimeto's Marcelo Martins made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ceyhun Tecimer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hamza Bayındır might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gumaro Taranco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamza Bayındır ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Obrero Barquisimeto had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
