An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Imre Leist got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Şener Akkoç made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Şener Akkoç made a precise shot to the right of Kalle Härmi. Kalle Härmi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rauf Ferikoğlu. In the 96th minute, Olari Ainsoo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sabri Tur was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3.
