In the 18th minute, Orlando Ramírez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 彭泉坚 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Oberto having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonidas Moscoso during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jorge Oberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 贺亮庭, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 34th minute Franklin Zambrano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 许皓杰 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Buenaventura FC's Franklin Zambrano in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HALO HANGZHOU's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franklin Zambrano in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 许皓杰 saved HALO HANGZHOU from getting behind. 39 minutes into the game, Pablo Bermudez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buenaventura FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HALO HANGZHOU the free kick. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Pablo Bermudez got a free kick in the 40th minute. 许皓杰 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Ramírez in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 彭泉坚 made a kick off. A collision led to Buenaventura FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Pablo Bermudez hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 贺亮庭 in the 59th minute of play forced Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Jorge Oberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If 贺亮庭 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 余鸿博 hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. A collision led to HALO HANGZHOU getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. 冯森轩 hit a great ball. Enrique Gómez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 贺亮庭 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Oberto having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Orlando Ramírez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buenaventura FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 许皓杰 came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Buenaventura FC's Franklin Zambrano. But to his dismay, Franklin Zambrano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Leonidas Moscoso hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Buenaventura FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
