Catadão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Figueroa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of UD Fuerteventura booed when Catadão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Carlos Figueroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Catadão booed when UD Fuerteventura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Vagrande didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in UD Fuerteventura's zone, Dorian Massa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Toxeiro came out of the goal and Dorian Massa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pablo Toxeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Varela in the 29th minute of play. If Fernando Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Toxeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Vitório Rezende recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pablo Toxeiro. Vitório Rezende showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Andrés Figueroa took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elder de Queiroz. Elder de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. After 45 played minutes Catadão got a freekick which was hit by Vitório Rezende. In the 47th minute, Carlos Figueroa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Fuerteventura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 3-4 lead.

UD Fuerteventura's Pablo Toxeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Fonseca in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Catadão's Jairo do Vale got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 63rd match minute, UD Fuerteventura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Miliano Madariaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Rezende in the 68th minute of play forced UD Fuerteventura's goalkeeper Pablo Toxeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Dorian Massa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catadão's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Fuerteventura the free kick. The audience was convinced that Vitório Rezende's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pablo Toxeiro was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Miliano Madariaga kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Fernando Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlo Portillo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Catadão's Dorian Silva got a free kick in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. UD Fuerteventura walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
