An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Boulogne in the 10th minute of play forced Grasshoppers Klucze's goalkeeper Hieronim Raflewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boulogne del Ciclón's Honorato Montrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan Zurawski in the 12th minute of play. Honorato Montrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Furlit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Bogdan Rywin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Boulogne del Ciclón's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Rywin came free, but Honorato Montrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Grasshoppers Klucze's Lukasz Kociniewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorato Montrel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Federico Pacho was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, one of Boulogne del Ciclón:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Boulogne del Ciclón. Boulogne del Ciclón:s Honorato Montrel showed great skill when he stopped Bernard Lewicki:s penalty. In the 34th minute Lukasz Kociniewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Grasshoppers Klucze's Lukasz Kociniewski got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 40th match minute, Grasshoppers Klucze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaw Jajecznica to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Boulogne in the 41st minute of play forced Grasshoppers Klucze's goalkeeper Hieronim Raflewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iwan Zurawski was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Boulogne del Ciclón's Iker Estavan got a free kick in the 50th minute. Boulogne del Ciclón's Diego Mingo got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58thth minute of the game Candido Darien who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grasshoppers Klucze's Hieronim Raflewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernard Lewicki kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Boulogne del Ciclón booed when Grasshoppers Klucze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwo Kaczucha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidio Lamberto hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Honorato Montrel came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Grasshoppers Klucze's Bogdan Rywin. But to his dismay, Bogdan Rywin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 86 minutes into the game, Marcos Boulogne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Hieronim Raflewski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th match minute, Grasshoppers Klucze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Rywin to maneuver through the defense. Hieronim Raflewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Boulogne in the 93rd minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
