When Clodoveo Ederono fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aerolineas Argentinas FC's protests and gave Clodoveo Ederono a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Aerolineas Argentinas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Ederono to maneuver through the defense. Adalberto Bomba charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adalberto Bomba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adalberto Bomba hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Angelino Liberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porfírio Cortez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Adalberto Bomba was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 24 minutes had been played. Joaquin Ricart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelino Liberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porfírio Cortez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aerolineas Argentinas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Porfírio Cortez was slow to take the kick. During this time QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Porfírio Cortez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Angelino Liberto did a great save. Altino Barcelos hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Angelino Liberto made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Santiago Ramos sent off a good shot on target. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Porfírio Cortez got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Santiago Ramos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelino Liberto. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santiago Ramos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Carlos Ornelas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clodoveo Ederono's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Carlos Ornelas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Alcántara in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 52 played minutes QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Coutinho. Porfírio Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Aerolineas Argentinas FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Joaquin Ricart hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the game, Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Joaquin Ricart nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Ornelas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 74 minutes into the game, Joaquin Ricart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Carlos Ornelas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Carlos Ornelas got control of the ball when Nunez Cordara tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Porfírio Cortez put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Angelino Liberto. In the 92nd minute, Gabriel Alcántara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Porfírio Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aerolineas Argentinas FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
