An unexpectedly hard shot by Walentin Næsted in the 10th minute of play forced BV Borussia Hammarby's goalkeeper Charles Fernström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jens-Erik Cane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salomon Barild took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Erik Cane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Söderqvist's late challenge caught a FC GILSAA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Söderqvist helped the player get up and apologised. Marcus Glad hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes, Terry Kejlstrup mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC GILSAA and the BV Borussia Hammarby players grew even worse after the yellow card. BV Borussia Hammarby's Charles Fernström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walentin Næsted in the 28th minute of play. FC GILSAA's Salomon Barild played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Erik Cane in the 34th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jens-Erik Cane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salomon Barild was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walentin Næsted stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Terry Kejlstrup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jens-Erik Cane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waldemar Fletting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Charles Fernström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Fernström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Fletting in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Jens-Erik Cane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to BV Borussia Hammarby getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Bertil Beckström hit a great ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
